ABOUT THE COURSE
|Olde Homeplace was designed by Mark Charles, built by
Don Charles, and operated by the Charles family.
The course opened June 4, 1993 under the name of Homestead Golf Club.
In 1998, due to a trademark infringement, we changed the course's name to
Olde Homeplace Golf Club.
In 2000, after the purchase of 20 additional acres, the course underwent some
significant changes. What was then holes #10 and #18 were converted into a driving
range and practice area, what is now holes #5 and #6 were built, and the remaining
16 holes were renumbered. The result is the layout we have today.
Our greens are Bentgrass, our tees and fairways are Burmuda Grass, and we
are consistently ranked one of the best maintained public courses in the Triad.
At Olde Homeplace we strive to give our customers the best golf course we can,
at the best price, while striving to treat everyone nice.
