Olde Homeplace was constructed in 1992, and opened June 4, 1993 under the name of Homestead Golf Club.

In 1998, due to a trademark infringement, we changed the course's name to Olde Homeplace Golf Club.

In 2000, after the purchase of 20 additional acres, the course underwent some significant changes. What was then holes #10 and #18 were converted into a driving range and practice area, what is now holes #5 and #6 were built, and the remaining 16 holes were renumbered. The result is the layout we have today.

Olde Homeplace was built by Don Charles. During his forty year career, Don partnered with top-name golf course architects like Ellis Maples and Arnold Palmer to build some of the country's best courses. Don built nearly seventy golf courses during his career.

Our course was designed by Don's son Mark. Mark went to work for his dad's golf course construction company in the mid 1980's, and then went on to design the last seven courses that Don built.

Since Olde Homeplace opened in 1993 the course has been managed and maintained by the Charles family. Mark Charles is the General Manager. Toby Tilley (Don Charles' nephew) is the Course Superintendant.

At Olde Homeplace we strive to give our customers the Best Golf Course we can, at the Best Price, while striving to Treat Everyone Nice.
